FAITH WEST ACADEMY | U.S. ARMY | KATY SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

Hello Strangers! Ha! Ha!

I know, it has been a bit quiet for some time! Rarely does it happen that we go so long without chatting; but the Texas weather has been a force to reckon with for sure! Amazingly enough I will likely (so long as nothing crazy happens, I do have kids and these boys keep me on my toes!) have a blog post tomorrow and Wednesday….then GUESS what!???? Lights out for about a little over a week! Don’t worry, I will be back and then it is going to be such an incredible unveiling! The website is getting a complete makeover! There will be new sections covering different aspects to what types of sessions are being offered along with some fun news for Class of 2020!!! So…just know that is in the works. It is likely why I have also been a little quiet, there are a few major things happening that are in full force and it is all “behind the scenes” but has everybit to do with this fun journey I am on with senior photography!

Hello Friends,

This week is getting off to a great start!! The sun is beginning to shine in Katy and so we are back to having more and more sessions!

Today I would like for you to meet Abby! Abby is a super talented senior at Taylor High School! Abby has qualified for the national thespian festival vocal competition twice in a row, mustang spirit award for math and theatre, and campfire lighter/swimmer of the day at Camp Longhorn, just to name a few. She is also an inducted member of Thespian Troupe 311. Abby’s love of acting is so perfect for her! I mean, this girl can flip a switch in a heartbeat…she can be serious one second and the next she is laughing hysterically on command! It is so funny to me because is definitely a bundle of energy and when she switches to the straight face she is full on rockin’ the look for sure-even though it is soooo NOT her! ha! ha!

ST. JOHN XXIII COLLEGE PREPARATORY | CLASS OF 2019 | URBAN SENIOR SESSION | KATY SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

Hello Everyone!

I know, I know…it has been quite some time. There has been so much happening behind the scenes that I do not know where to begin. Let’s just say, that timing is everything when you are left with writing your thoughts for all to see. I had to make sure that my mind was back in it’s “perky” place and could share a fun session without having a moment of guilt for feeling happy. You see, one of my senior models, lost her younger brother in a tragic accident. He was only 16 and went to school with my son and his mom is a very dear friend. The loss of someone so young is so hard to fathom and it is hard to not just stay in a “fog” of sorts trying to figure it out. The fact is, some of life’s events are not meant for us to figure out.
