I cannot believe it has been so long since there was a blog posted. How embarrassing. So much has been going on and sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming. Knowing I have so many awesome seniors that love their photos makes it sooo worth it. I told someone the other day, I feel like I am also "empty nesting". I appreciate many of you that have been so patient. You guys know how hard it is to keep anyone waiting...so with this final push, it has been really hard. Yesterday I had a computer glitch that almost pushed me over the edge. The timing couldn't have been worse. I think my heart rate raced to a level that an ambulance could have been considered! ha! ha! The good news is that my husband's background in technology, the folks at Simply Mac and the power of a prayers (with double portions from my sweet Nannie and Mom) the problem was resolved in waaaaay less time than I had predicted. So that is a little about the personal stuff happening...the good news is that all of my peeps still love me even though they saw several unknown sides of me over the last day or so!
Enough about me....how about let's talk about Kaylee!!! Yes!! This senior stunner is just incredible. Her session was so perfect for her...combining a little small town girl with a little fun in the downtown park. We had so much fun at the park! I must say, it is a good sign that when you are photographing a senior and a grandmother is having her grand-daughters photograph her in similar poses....I assure you, not be silly, this woman truly wanted her photos to look like Kaylee's! It was so hard to not die laughing. I always say there is usually one quirky thing that happens and this would definitely be the case!
Kaylee is a senior at Seven Lakes High School and is involved in what looks like every.single.thing!! ha! ha! Among her activities, she is the Senior Lieutenant Dance Officer for the Seven Lakes Sapphires Dance Team, a member of the National Charity League, National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Spartans Out Serving, Best Buddies, and Senior Women. Whew...how do you maintain honor roll with all of that!? I am exhausted just thinking about all the activities. Kaylee will be attending Texas Tech in the fall and major in communications. I can only hope she is not critiquing my grammar on this blog! ha! ha!
Here are a few photos from our fun session! Kaylee...I am so excited for you and your future! You will continue to succeed in everything...I have NO DOUBT! Tech is blessed to have you as their student! xo Nikki
