I am so excited to share this senior session. Often times senior's extra curricular activities that should be highlighted during their session. Occasionally, the effort of highlighting the session does entail taking a little extra time and doing a "mini" session. Today's stunning senior is a highly talented dancer that attends Houston's High School for Visual and Performing Arts. Her attendance at such a renowned school just reiterates her dedication to her craft. With her dedication to dance we certainly didn't want to have a senior session without honoring her talent.
The first time I met Bethey was for her dance mini session. I was simply blown away. This beautiful young lady just moved with such grace and ease. For a second I thought she was floating!! It felt like she was able to speak through dance.
Aside from Bethey being one of the most talented dancers I have witnessed, she is highly intelligent. She has numerous awards and is a member of the National Honor Society. Bethey plans to pursue a double major in dance and medicine. Wow! Currently she is narrowing down her options with one of her top choices being University of Texas in Austin.
Bethey's session was styled exactly according to her taste. She loves the urban/city look. She is a "no fuss" kind of girl that likes to keep things easy breezy. I will say, when she popped on her red dress, the WOW factor was born! Once I knew she would do a few of her leaps in the dress, my mind went crazy with ideas. Bethey did NOT disappoint! I am so happy with how her session turned out--so much fun, so much of Bethey's personality shines through these images.
Witnessing Bethey and her mom view the gallery with such excitement was so much fun. There is nothing more fun for a photographer than to witness their client being truly satisfied with each shot. Bethey, I wish you nothing but the best and look forward to hearing about the university you have chosen when you attend the "college shirt shootout". You have so much to look forward to!!!
Without further ado, here are my favorite shots from Bethey's session. I have added additional favorites from her dance mini session as well. xo-Mrs. Nikki
